Hi Chris - I read the first three articles for free and am interested in the full course, but one thing I can’t tell is, is there some kind of “putting it all together” or summary / synthesis section? I ultimately want to use this course to plan a more nutritious diet for me and my family but I feel like that could be overwhelming. Thanks!

Chris did a "vitamins and minerals 101 cliff notes" that's available to masterpass members. It's a downloadable PDF and often mentions diet. That may be what your looking for.

Will you make a formal announcement when the physical book is up for sale?

Do you have an estimated time frame of when our book will be published? I too pre ordered the book and have been waiting for it to be released.

I do not. You can get a refund from support@chrismasterjohnphd.com if you do not want to wait..

I’m also trying to figure this out. I pre ordered the book but didn’t receive it. Maybe it was emailed and I missed it. So bummed.

Hi Chris. I purchased Vitamins and Minerals 101 alg with Testing Nutritional Stus. Both contain very good information.

I have MTHFR C677T homozygous, along with some signifucant SNPS affecting the methylation pathway.

I am hopig to use this information to help this.

I received a recent email re the option to pre-order your book. The link brings me here and I can't find that information. Can you please tell me how to find that information.

Thank you.

Hi Chris,

I just found your articles and wow love reading all of this information. I am 10 years post thyroidectomy and currently taking compounded pig thyroid from a functional doctor who helps me with labs and hormonal/nutrition balancing. She told me not to ever take iodine because i have no thyroid. I’m curious after reading this article… is this correct?

If you literally have no thyroid at all, you will not be able to make thyroid hormone. Iodine might have some other roles but they are poorly characterized. Breast tissue accumulates a lot of iodine and if you have kids you will need iodine.

I purchased this course along with the book but can no longer log into the original website for the course. How can I access it?

Hi Chris, I just found your substack and have been exploring the gene support, etc after listening to Buehler and Brecka on Rogan, and then your fact checking youtube. I majored in plant pathology so I do have my share of science classes. So I at least recognize a lot of the nomenclature. My son is 26 and going back to college. He has been diagnosed with ADHD and suffers from anxiety and some insomnia. Like me his brain spins up when he lays down. It sounds like he, and I, could be helped to a large degree by supplementing his deficiencies. We have been big on vitamin supplements for quite a while, especially D3 and Mag Citrate. We started taking a methylized Super B multifitamin, etc. Clearly he would need to be tested. But then what? Is this an area we could follow up with you for suggested treatment? I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks, Jay

I’m not a health care practitioner and don’t do treatments. I would get on the BioOpt waitlist, and in the mean time I would look at this:

https://chrismasterjohnphd.substack.com/p/043-methylate-your-way-to-mental

And then all the resources under the “lab tests” menu section including the Genova Methylation Panel.

Hi Chris. I purchased both this Vitamin/Mineral 101 and your Testing Nutritional Status. They have both been helpful to correct some food intolerances I'm having. In the testing info, you mentioned The Genova ION panel. I was planning to get this test but it has been replaced NutraEval. Do you have any thought about NutraEval FMV version? Are you planning to update the testing info?

The Nutreval is good, but it wasn’t obvious to me what the difference is with FMV so I’m going to have to put the analytes in a spreadsheet together. I’ll make an update when I’m able to analyze the difference.
