Quite often people who eat a whole-foods diet that is low in starches and cheese do not realize that they've eliminated the vast majority of salt in their diet. While salting food to taste and drinking salted lemon water are great ways to get salt in, many people simply don't have a salty enough appetite to get enough in these ways.
