This was wonderful thank you! Can you elaborate more or point me to more information on how vitamin a can protect against kidney stones? I have them as well as oxalate issue. My labs show vitamin a deficiency. I was curious if a deficiency cause formation of oxalate some way. Thanks.

I commented on your latest post then realized I should look for existing posts on Vitamin A. Feel like I learned a bit. Thanks. I am curious for those supplementing with Vitamin A how can you confirm how much your body is actually getting from it. I'm also curious about Vitamin A and conditions such as Retinitas Pigmentosa and if there is a breakdown is happening in how the Vitamin is used in the biochemical processes that go into our vision where that could be. Thanks.

You can use lab testing (see the lab test tab in the menu) and empirically track how your health responds.

I'm a bit confused, how can the lower limit for avoiding deficiency be at the same point as the upper limit for avoiding toxicity (ie 3000 iu)?
