Thanks for your work. We don't hear enough about micronutrients and you fill that gap! With respect to copper, many women are copper-replete and possibly at risk of toxicity (and zinc deficiency) from BIRTH CONTROL. The copper Intra-uterine device (IUD, which is becoming more and more popular) certainly carries this risk. Birth control pills are given to females 'from 10 to 100' for everything from scant periods to heavy periods to birth control to endometriosis to PMS . . . . They are vastly over-prescribed today IMO. I strongly believe that Zinc deficiency mediates many of the psychiatric side effects of birth control. Add to this the multitude of estrogenic plants and chemicals we are swimming in and the ubiquitous copper piping, and this is why I hear health experts such as Kelly Brogan, Marie Louise Gittleman and others stating that copper toxicity is on the rise.

Yes, well birth control seems to do that!

Yes :) I am the daughter of 2 young women who both discontinued the pill due to bad reactions, and 'all' of their friends who take the pill have to take an antidepressant along with it. IMO this is due to micronutrient depletion (zinc & B vitamins) which allows copper to rise too high (which in turn brings higher thrombotic risk). Not only the 40-something w/ an IUD who now wants to look younger, but also the 20-somethings, vulnerable to the anti-aging messaging geared at them now (true!), are tempted to take a copper "beauty supplement", which would induce overload.

In summary, I think a majority of females would be harmed by copper supplementation, and if you could put a proviso in your copper videos (about birth control and copper) that would be a great public service.

Thanks again for your important work!
