Today is My Talk on the Mitochondrial Energy Summit
Dietary Individualization for Mitochondrial Health
The Mitochondrial Energy Summit features my talk today.
Their summary of my talk is as follows:
Why one-size-fits-all diet approaches are problematic
Keys to using nutrition to improve mitochondrial health
The genetics-nutrition interplay and why it matters
Dr. Masterjohn's unique and unusual superfood list to optimize mitochondrial function
I would say the highlights are:
obvious low-hanging fruits for mitochondrial health,
not-so-obvious low-hanging fruits for mitochondrial health
the many nutrients involved in mitochondrial health
why the highest-hanging fruit, resolving the rare idiosyncrasies that are common enough to impact almost every person, will often be the goldmine once the low-hanging fruit are reached
why it is probably common but completely unappreciated that idiosyncratic blocks in specific energy metabolism pathways could lead to toxic byproducts from food that explain why some people feel fatigued, ill, edgy, or otherwise abnormal after they eat.
Morley Robbins also presents today on minerals.

That was a great talk!
Your talk has me brainstorming how to spread out my consumption of superfoods instead of once a week! Ann and I have been eating oysters every week and making a dinner of liver every other week! i’m thinking I could cook the liver and freeze dry them for small snacks of liver and onions every day.
