I keep a stash of these in my office closet and eat about one bag a week. My favorite chips!
MASA chips are made from organic corn from small New England farms. The corn is nixtimalized, which frees the niacin, makes it more digestible, and eliminates 97-100% of the mycotoxins (based on studies with aflatoxin).
Then they are fried in grass-fed beef tallow!
They are full-bodied and feel nourishing, and they are the perfect saltiness.
That is, I do not feel like a company has tagged me as eating a low-salt diet just because I want a healthy chip.
The bulk of your diet should be unprocessed and minimally processed foods, but there is an important place for health snacks!
I keep a ten-month supply of their beef sticks in my office closet, and small stashes in my backpack and travel bags so that I can use them as my preferred snack whenever I’m traveling or need something quick so I don’t get distracted from my work by needing to go to the kitchen.
I also use one or two capsules of their Essential C Complex per day during periods where I am not consistently getting 200 mg or more of vitamin C per day from whole foods. It is made from organic amla berry, camu camu berry, and unripe acerola cherry.
I take 6 capsules of their liver extract per day during periods where I am not meeting my target of an average of 4-8 ounces of liver per week.
During periods where I am not actively eating oysters, I take 6 capsules of Oystermax a day on an empty stomach, which is like eating 1-2 oysters. OysterMax is made by Marine Health Foods, and they also offer a wild Alaskan salmon oil and a shark liver oil.
Seeking Health makes my favorite genetic analysis and the only one I routinely use in my consulting practice, Strategene. I take one capsule of their vitamin B6 as P5P every day, and I use their lactase drops in my raw milk (raw milk has some lactase but not as much as the healthy gut of someone without genetic lactase non-persistence!).
I use one or two of their lion’s mane- and rhodiola-based “Think” packets on days where I need deep focus for research and writing.

I use their amber glasses with prescription lenses as my night-time blue-blockers, and their “blue light blocking torch” as a red light flashlight when going into rooms at night where I don’t have ambient amber light set up. I also use their EMF-blocking laptop mat under my keyboard when I’m at my desk, and with a pillow under my laptop on the less common occasions I work freely with my laptop on my lap. I use their EMF-free airtube headphones when I need headphones to reduce feedback on my computer.
I use this for five minutes a day as part of my morning routine, and find it invigorating. I personally am very heat-intolerant and I make it a point to sweat during high-intensity exercise but I do not feel that I benefit from extra sweating. Otherwise, I would use this for longer. Five minutes a day is my sweet spot. One of my favorite things about this model is that within a few minutes you can pack it or unpack it for storage, making it especially excellent for small apartments where space is a premium.
